ADEM Vzw is a non profit organisation that aims to take care of children and young adults in need. The renovation of the historical site and former monastery they occupy is a necessity to be able to give adequat care to their residents on site and those that are currently living elsewhere.

The complexity in this projects is all around. Financial aspects need concrete and forward cash and subsidy planning. Design processes need to be forward thinking and phased taking into account the residents who live on site while building. Construction contractors need clear guidelines in order to have minimum impact on their environment and community.

The integration of Park Partners and Residents makes finances, construction and occupancy interrelated. The buildings will therefore be in need of overall supervision in terms of project and property management. Long term forward thinking meets short term needs.
